Odessa Commercial Sea Port to boost capacity to 10-12 mln t of grain by 2015

By 2015, Odessa Commercial Sea Port (Ukraine) plans to increase its throughput capacity to 10–12 mln t of grain, the company’s press center refers to Ruslan Sautdinov, deputy head of the port authority.
 
In particular, he mentioned a number of investment projects being implemented at the port to build up its grain throughput capacity.
 
According to him, grain terminal located at the forth berth is completed by 90%. The second station for unloading of automobiles is under construction today. Besides, an additional ship loading conveyor is to be installed which will let it handle 2.4 mln t.
 
Moreover, the project on con of a 4-mln t grain terminal being implemented together with Brooklin-Kiev is completed by 50%.
