Throughput of Izmail Commercial Seaport (Ukraine) up 42.9% to 841,250 t in QI'14

In January-March 2014, Izmail Commercial Seaport (Ukraine) handled 841,250 t of cargo (+42.9%, year-on-year), the stevedore’s press center says.

Transshipment of export cargoes hit 623,186 t, transit – 209,906 t, import – 7,417 t, coastal trade cargo - 742 t.

According to Mikhail Dobrov, Acting Operations Manager of the port, the company handled 574 vessels including 33 seagoing vessels.

Izmail Commercial Seaport is a state stevedoring company. The company owns three terminals, a fleet of barges, dry bulk carriers, towboats, a floating landing stages, pontoons, workboats and floating cranes.
