Ship repair center Dalzavod expects doubling of economic output to RUB 12 bln in 2014

In 2014, Ship repair center Dalzavod OJSC expects doubling of its economic output to RUB 12 bln in 2014.

In 2011, the company’s economic output hit RUB 1.8 bln, in 2012 – RUB 2.6 bln, in 2013 – RUB 5.5 bln. 

The leaders of the center are set to develop repairing of civil vessels (from RUB 200 mln in 2013 to RUB 280 bln in 2014).

The company was created by uniting the facilities of two yards – JSC 178th Ship Repair Yard of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and JSC Dalzavod. Up to now, ship repair and other related works have been the main area of the two companies’ activities. In 2013, Dalzavod repaired some 200 ships.
