Konstantin Busygin appointed as head of Russian Border Services Agency (photo)

Konstantin Busygin has been appointed the head of the Federal Agency for the Development of the State Border Facilities of the Russian Federation (Rosgranitsa).

According to the materials of RF Government, the order was signed by RF Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on April 21, 2014.

Konstantin Busygin was born in 1965 Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

In 1999, he graduated the Moscow State Institute for International Relations with specialization of international lawyer. 

In 1996- 2002 he held the post of the Deputy Chairman of the Board at the Federal Investment Bank. From 2004, held executive positions at Moscow authorities. From August 2005 – Deputy Prefect of Moscow’s Western Administrative District. 

From December 2010 – head of the authority of Moscow’s Solntsevo District.

From December 2012 – Director General of scientific production association Izhmash (known today as Concern Kalashnikov OJSC). In late January 2014, Busygin left this position.
