On May 17, 2014, Astrakhan-based Lotos Shipyard performed technical launch of M/V Anatoly Sidenko, 7,240-dwt dry cargo carrier of project RSD49 (construction number 302) built for  shipping company Ankor LLC, says the press center of Marine Engineering Bureau, the series designer.

Lotos is building two vessels of this project with participation of Goznak-Leasing CJSC as the lessor and shipping company Ankor LLC as the lessee. The leasing company’s loan holder is the United Shipbuilding Corporation.
  
Currently, the RSD49 vessels are so far the largest of dry cargo ships that satisfy the dimensions of Volga-Don Shipping Canal.
 
The Volga-Don Max vessels of mixed river-sea sailing are designed for transportation of general and bulk cargoes, including steel, grain, timber, coal, oversized and heavy-lift and dangerous cargoes of classes 1.4S, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.1, 8, 9 by IC IMDG and Annex B of the BC Code in the Caspian Sea and the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Baltic, White and North seas, including sailings around Europe and in the Irish Sea during winter season.

The series vessel features a 52-m-long middle cargo hold for shipping oversized project cargo on direct Europe-Caspian Sea line. Currently, the RSD49 vessels are so far the largest of dry cargo ships that satisfy the dimensions of Volga-Don Shipping Canal.

Classification: КМ Ice2 R2 AUT1-C by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. Meets all international conventions valid as of the date of keel-laying.

Major characteristics: length overall – 139.95 m, beam overall – 16.70 m, depth – 6.00 m, sea / river draft – 4.7m / 3.6m, sea / river DWT – 7240t / 4504 t, cargo holds capacity – 10,920 cbm, sea endurance - 20 days, crew - 10 persons, accommodation - 12. 
The vessel model was tested at the towage tank of CSRI of Academic A.N.Krylov.  
M/V Vladimir Zakharenko, lead vessel of project RSD49 (construction number 301) was laid down by Lotos shipyard on January 27, 2011, launched on February 26, 2013 and delivered on March 21, 2014.

M/V Anatoly Sidenko, second vessel of project RSD49 (construction number 302) was laid down by Lotos shipyard on January 27, 2011.
