Aleksey Miller forecasts LNG to account for 30% of worldwide gas sales in midterm period (photo)

The share of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in total sales of gas at the global market is not likely to change in the midterm period – it will remain at the level of 30%, IAA PortNews journalist cites Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, as saying today at the 4th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF). 

LNG has failed to become a global integrator of gas market, just like shale gas has, Alexey Miller said. 

The 4^th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF) — the largest specialized industry event in Russia -  opened on October, 7 at International Convention and Exhibition Centre EXPOFORUM.
