Murmansk region authorities promise efficient support of investors amid sanctions (photo)

Amid sanctions imposed on Russia by western countries in respect of projects on the development of offshore oil & gas fields, it is necessary to pay special attention to financing of scientific-research and experimental activities, IAA PortNews journalist cites Aleksei Tyukavin, First Vice-Governor of the region, as saying at the 7^th International Conference “Arctic Shelf Development: Step by Step” in Murmansk. 

According to him, business requires state support as sanctions limit the access of Russian companies to long-term financing. In this context, Murmansk region has elaborated an efficient system of investment projects support.

A Bill on industrial policy determining the system of state support is currently under approval at the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
