Vitaly Klyuev, Russian candidate for the post of IMO Secretary-General, took part in the first meeting of Russia-Indonesia Working Group on Transport and Infrastructure held at RF Ministry of Transport on April 7, 2015.
According to the website of the candidate, Russian delegation was headed by Deputy Transport Minister of Russia Aleksei Tsydenov, Indonesian delegation – by Secretary-General at the Ministry of Transportation of Indonesia Santoso Eddy Wibowo.
The meeting addressed the issues of cooperation within IMO.
Vitaly Klyuev shared his vision of work in IMO in the coming years.
Both sides agreed on closer interaction and cooperation within the framework of IMO in order to make its work more transparent and efficient.
The Indonesian delegation expressed its approval of the provisions set forth in the programme of Vitaly Klyuev as the IMO SG candidate.
