Amendments initiated into technological procedures of border checkpoints at ports Olya and Astrakhan

Regional Ministry of Industry, Transport and Natural Resources has initiated a number of amendments into the technological procedures of border checkpoints at ports Olya and Astrakhan for faster clearance of passenger ships personnel and imported perishables, the Ministry says in its press release.

Amid growing number of calls and increasing paperwork at the border checkpoint “Olya”, certain amendments have been initiated for clearance of cruise ships and vessels bound for drilling rigs in the Caspian Sea. The amendments have been approved at the meeting of “Olya” checkpoint’s coordination council.

Amid intensifying trade turnover with the Caspian states, the Ministry of Industry, Transport and Natural Resources of the Astrakhan Region has initiated introduction of amendments into the technological procedures of  border checkpoint “Astrakhan” for faster clearance of imported perishables. The amendments have been approved at the meeting of “Astrakhan” checkpoint’s coordination council.
