Federation Council OKs transport tariffs regulation for shipping services on the Crimea-Krasnodar Region route
Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia has approved a draft federal law "On state regulation of prices (tariffs) for transportation services for passengers, baggage, vehicles, railway rolling stock on board ships, sailing between the seaports of the Republic of Crimea, the federal city of Sevastopol and seaports of Krasnodar Territory, and for additional transport services", the upper house press office said.
The draft law was presented by the member of the Federation Council's Committee on Economic Policy Nikolay Vlasenko.
The law provides for transport tariffs state regulation procedures effective until January 1, 2018.
The draft law envisages that the regulation will be carried out by a federal executive body authorized to exercise state regulation of tariffs.
Prices (tariffs) for transportation services / related additional services will be set differentially subject to the conditions in which such services provided by shipping companies carrying passengers, baggage, vehicles and railway rolling stock.
Rules of state regulation of prices (tariffs) for transportation / additional services are approved by the Government of the Russian Federation.
The law shall enter into force thirty days after its official publication.
