The Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport (Rosmornechflot) invites bids for the conceptual design of an ice class containership that will sail on the Northern Sea Route (NSR), the state procurement agency said.
The future Arctic class container carrier should have increased capacity to carry more cargo along of the northern shipping lane.
Deadline for submission of tenders is May 13, 2015. Date of review and evaluation of proposals for participation in the competition is May 25, 2015.
The initial (maximum) contract price is RUB 73,102,500 (US$ 1,39 million).
