Hapag-Lloyd hikes rates for East Asia Mexico, CAWC and SAWC trade

Hapag-Lloyd has announced General Rate Increase for all shipments of cargoes and all container types from East Asia to Mexico, West Coast of Central America and West Coast of South America, the liner shipping company said in a press release.

The GRI effective June 1, 2015 will be USD 750 per TEU.

Hapag-Lloyd is a leading global liner shipping company. Hapag-Lloyd AG emerged on September 1st, 1970 from the amalgamation of the two shipping companies Hamburg-Amerikanische Packetfahrt-Actien-Gesellschaft (Hapag / Hamburg-American Line) and North German Lloyd (NDL). The company's fleet of around 150 modern ships move annually five million containers. Hapaq-Lloyed employes 6,900 staff working at 300 locations in 114 countries.
