In the reported period, Russian Railways loaded 105.7 mln t of coal (+4%, year-on-year); 3.7 mln t of coal (-0.8%); 86.5 mln t of crude and oil products (-0.3%); 36.4 mln t of iron and manganese ore (+2.8%); 24.5 mln t of ferrous metal (+4.8%); 4.5 mln t of ferrous metal scrap (+10.2%); 17.1 mln t of chemical and mineral fertilizers (-0.9%); 7.6 mln t of cement (-13.7%); 13.9 mln t of timber (+1.7%); 5.8 mln t of grain (+14.2%); 34.2 mln t of construction materials (-21.8%); 6.4 mln t of non-ferrous ore and raw sulphur (+2.7%); 8.5 mln t of chemicals and soda (-4%); 10.2 mln t of industrial raw materials and molding materials (+1%).
In the reported period, the company’s cargo turnover totaled 748.4 bln tarrif t-km (-0.3%). Cargo turnover including empty wagon run - 963.1 bln t-km (0.7%).
In April 2015, Russian Railways loaded 99.8 mln t of cargo (-2%, year-on-year). The company’s cargo turnover fell by 2.1% to 185.4 bln tarrif t-km. Cargo turnover including empty wagon run fell by 2.1% to 238.3 bln t-km.
