FSUE Rosmorport plans to double frequency of sailings on the Anapa-Feodosia-Anapa line. The enhancement on the service is effective as from July 20, 2015, the state-owned company said.
Rosmorport will deploy additional catamaran "Sochi-1" that has previously serviced the line between the Russian mainland and the Crimea in tandem with the "Sochi-2".
"As expected, in mid-July demand for transportation to the resorts of the Crimea increased considerably. For the first two weeks of July more than 1000 passengers were transported by the "Sochi-2". With the additional passenger catamaran "Sochi-1" passengers will have a choice of departure time, at 08.00 or 16.30. The vessels will sail from Anapa and Feodosia simultaneously, towards each other," said General Director of FSUE Rosmorport Andrei Tarasenko.
The new schedule makes it possible for passengers arriving throughout the day to Anapa and Krasnodar, to plan travel routes without a long wait.
