RF Government has made a decision to establish a Supervisory Board of the Free Port of Vladivostok, says the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East. The Supervisory Board which is to be established under the Law on the Free Port of Vladivostok is intended to concentrate the administrative efforts and opportunities in order to ensure the best practice of state management and law enforcement.
“Under the Law, the Supervisory Board will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister responsible for the Far East development issues. That is Yury Trutnev. Among the Board members there will be deputy heads of the related federal authorities responsible for successful operation of the free port of Vladivostok, Primorsky Territory Governor, Head of Primorje Legislative Assembly, heads of municipalities with free port status,” said Aleksandr Galushka, Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East.
Free Port of Vladivostok will be presented to Russian and foreign investors at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok, September 3-5, 2015.
