Within the unannounced combat readiness inspection of the Central MD, the warships of the Caspian flotilla have arrived in the dispersal areas of the Caspian Sea where they are going to organize all types of defensive at the unsafe roadstead, Russia’s Defence Ministry says.
In particular, the crews are practicing organization of air defence and antisabotage defence.
Minesweeping forces of the flotilla led the ships during their sortie from the permanent bases and started checking Volga-Caspian channel for mines.
The supply forces of the Caspian flotilla prepare equipment for combat firings and usage of ships’ armament complexes.
