Seven Seas changes brand name, set to revitalise the ship supply chain
EMS Seven Seas has unveiled a new corporate identity as part of a much wider growth strategy that aims to position the company as the world’s foremost supplier to the global maritime sector, the Company said Thursday in a press release.
The company will drop the EMS prefix symbolic of the 2006 acquisition of Eitzen Marine Services and will now operate under the name Seven Seas.
The new logo and identity were unveiled at IMPA London, where Seven Seas is the title sponsor of the event.
Speaking yesterday in London, Seven Seas’ Chief Executive Officer, Lars Rosenkrands, said: “Our new corporate identity reflects the changes we’ve been making to the company over the past year and is in line with what our customers are asking for. We are pursuing a strategy to deliver concierge-like services to our customers and position Seven Seas as the most innovative, agile, solutions-driven concierge in the maritime industry.
“The brand is built around our new wave logo which is not only symbolic of the maritime industry, but also displays elements of the Yin and Yang philosophy, representing the interconnected world in which we operate. Our new tagline, “Keeps you Sailing”, is the guiding theme for the new direction the company is moving towards, which is built on supporting customers through a suite of integrated maritime solutions, allowing them to focus on the things that matter – running their business.
