In January-August 2015, the Port of Tallinn (Estonia) handled 15.22mln t of cargo (-21.7%, year-on-year). According to the Port Authorities, the Port’s assenger traffic climbed by 1.4% to 6,785,000 people.
Port of Tallinn ranks fourth largest seaport, next to St. Petersburg, Primorsk and Ust-Luga, on the Baltic Sea. The Port comprises five so-called port zones: Muuga, Old City Harbor, Paljassaare, Paldiski South and Saaremaa. In 2014 throughput at Tallinn port totaled 28.32 million tonnes.
