Hapag-Lloyd to increase the rates on the westbound trade from Indian Subcontinent and the Middle East
Effective October 1, 2015 Hapag-Lloyd will increase the rates on the westbound trade from Indian Subcontinent and the Middle East by USD 150 per 20’ and USD 250 per 40’ container:
Applicable for all shipments to North Europe and Mediterranean (excluding South and West Africa).
Indian Subcontinent Zone 1 comprises the West Coast ports of India (Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Delhi) and all inland container depot (ICD) locations moving via the ports of Nhava Sheva and Mundra and Pakistan.
Indian Subcontinent Zone 2 comprises East and South Coast India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Middle East comprises Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
North Europe comprises North West Continent, the U.K., Scandinavia, Baltic and European ports of Russia.
Mediterranean comprises the West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Africa.
