Klaipeda Seaport cargo handling turnover up by 9,0 pct. to 25,37 mln tn in January – August of 2015

Within the period of January – August of 2015 Klaipeda Seaport cargo handling turnover increased by 9,0 pct. to 25,37 mln tn, i.e. more by 2,1 mln tn comparing with the corresponding period of 2014, the company said in its press release.
Year-on-year changes of overall turnover in January - July of 2015 according to cargo types:
Liquid cargo – 7 070,5 thou tn were handled, +41,4 pct. or +2 069,3 thou. tn yoy;
General cargo – 7 389,8 thou. tn were handled, -2,3 pct. or -175,4 thou. tn yoy;
Dry and bulk cargo – 10 909,9 thou. tn were handled, +1,9 pct. or +207,7 thou. tn yoy
