BIO-UV supplied its Ballast Water Treatment System BIO-SEA2000 (2000m3/h) for CMA CGM's largest containership, the 18000teu VASCO DE GAMA, the Company said in its press release.
With its 399 meters length and 54 meters width, the VASCO DE GAMA is the first 18,000 TEUs containership ever built by a Chinese shipyard. It will sail under the UK flag.
The VASCO DE GAMA is equipped with the latest environmental technologies, and the BIO-SEA2000 BWTS representing therefore one of the greenest goods transport means in the world.
