In January-November 2015, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 2,599,600 t of cargo, which is tha same as in January-November 2014, the port’s Harbour Master Service told IAA PortNews.
Transshipment of oil products – fell by 36.3% to 619,200 t, ferrous metal – climbed by 37.9% to 369,700 t, coal – by 44.7% to 602,500 t, grain – by 20.2% to 871,700 t.
In the reported period, exports climbed by 10.2% to 1,957,700 t, imports fell 3.5 times to 55,500, transshipment of coastal trade cargo – by 7.3% to 579,000 t.
In January-November 2015, the port authorities registered 868 incoming and 869 outgoing vessels against 884 incoming and 890 outgoing vessels in January-November 2014.
