Russian Government on December 24, 2015 adopted a resolution, allowing it to combine the roles of deputy transport minister and the head of Rosmorrechflot, the government press office said.
The draft resolution also proposed to amend the provisions of the various ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Transport, RosVodResursi, Ministry of Industry, Rosrybolovstvo, Rostransnadzor, Rosmorrechflot and other federal agencies. According to the proposals a federal minister submit a proposal to the government on the appointment and dismissal of deputy heads of the ministry's subordinate federal services and agencies. The heads of federal bodies and agencies under the jurisdiction of the Federal Ministry have deputies appointed and dismissed by the Government on the proposal of the respective federal minister.
