More than 50 ships and support vessels of the Caspian Flotilla finished preparing the ships for sorties, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
In the course of the last three months of the winter training period, total in-sea time of the crews has reached about 150 days; the crews have passed more than 1,300 nautical miles, performed about 40 tasks and fired about 500 different projectiles.
In two months, the servicemen will participate in different naval trainings and exercises, including performing artillery and missile firing engaging naval, coastal and aerial targets.
Each ship will stay in the sea for 8-20 days in reference to the rank.
