Throughput of Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port up 4.6 % to 434,000 t in Jan-Feb'16

In January-February 2016, Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port (Vladmorrybport OJSC) handled 434,000 t of cargo (+4.6%, year-on-year), the stevedoring company says. 

Transshipment of fish products totaled 51,300 t (+22%), dry bulk cargo - 144,800 t, containers – 17,252 TEUs, metal scrap – 28,600 t.

In January-February 2016, the port handled 102 vessels and 5,652 wagons. 

Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port is a multi-purpose reloading complex on the southern coast of the nonfreezing Zolotoi Rog Bay. The quay line of 10 berths which is 2,020 m long, 9 km of railway lines and 3 locomotives enable the company to handle 71 wagons per day. Transshipment of fish products, that is a key activity of Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port surged over 2-fold in 2015 – to 307,500 t.
