Reconstruction of bunkering facility at port Nevelsk to be completed by year end (photo)

The works on reconstruction of bunkering facility at the port of Nevelsk (Sakhalin) are to be completed by the end of 2016, Aslan Tadtayev, head of facility owner Gornyak-1 LLC, told IAA PortNews. 

According to him, the project implementation started in 2014. The bunkering facility is located at Berth No 1 of port Nevelsk. Total investments are estimated at some RUB 80 mln.

Modernization of tanks for light and dark fuel has been completed. As of today, their capacity is 10,200 cbm. Modernization of the boiler house and installation of state-of-the-art equipment for pumping of heavy fuel oil. 

The bunkering complex is partly operational today. Oil products are delivered by tankers from Transbunker’s terminal at port Vanino. Fishing ships and bulkers are being bunkered here.
