Busan Port Authority stated that BPA will attend the world's largest cruise convention, Seatrade Cruise Global 2016(hereinafter SCG), in Miami q-from March 14 to 17.
BPA plans to attract the world’s largest cruise ship(0.22mil ton-class) to Busan. In particular, BPA will promote Seatrade Cruise Asia 2016, Asia's largest cruise convention, which will be held on May 12 at Busan Port International Passenger Terminal.
BPA will engage in cruise marketing activities at international conferences q-and visit the world’s 2nd largest cruise liner RCCL to discuss International Cruise Terminal expansion in Youngdo q-and facility improvement to prepare for the call of Oasis of the Seas in 2018.
BPA formed Korea-Japan Cruise Network with 4 Japanese ports including Kanazawa q-and Fukuoka in October in order to tackle sharp decrease in Chinese tourists triggered by outbreak of the MERS last summer.
