In 2016, dredging works will be carried out at 27 bars limiting the navigation within the Azov-Don River Basin, IAA PortNews correspondednt cites Elena Borisova, representative of Azov-Don Basin Administration, as saying at the meeting on the occasion of transit navigation opened at Lower Don.

“The scope of dredging will total some 690,000 t of material. Most of works will performed below the Kochetkovsky hydrosystem.”
