In January-March 2016, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 563,200 t of cargo (-23.1%, year-on-year), the port’s Harbour Master Service told IAA PortNews.
Transshipment of oil products fell by 40.5% to 194,600 t, coal – down 19.6% to 117,500 t, ferrous metal – down 8.5 times to 10,100 t. Transshipment of grain doubled to 210,100 t.
In the reported period, exports fell by 12.8% to 360,700 t, imports – by 47.5% to 7,200 t, short sea traffic – by 35.4% to 194,600 t.
In January-March 2016, the port authorities registered 168 arrivals and 143 departures against 188 arrivals and 176 departures in January-March 2015.
