Cargo transportation by Ukraine’s water transport up 7.5% to 1 mln t in QI’2016

In January-March 2016, water transport of Ukraine carried 1 mln t of cargo (+7.5 %, year-on-year), says State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.

Cargo turnover decreased by 35.3% to 751.5 mln tonne-km.

The increase was also registered in highway and pipeline transport sectors.

All types of transport carried 140.8 mln t of cargo (+4.1%, year-on-year).
