Kuwait is interested in investing into the projects of Russia’s Far East where a comfortable environment has been developed for investors, PR Department of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East cites the Chairman of the Kuwaiti part of the Intergovernmental Russia-Kuwait Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H.E. Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah as saying following the meeting of the Commission.
Alexander Galushka, Chairman of the Russian part of the Russia–Kuwait Intergovernmental Commission, Minister for Development of the Russian Far East, invited the Kuwaiti investors take part in the development of the Free Port of Vladivostok and priority development territories in the Far East of Russia.
“In view of excellent prospects offered for investors in the Far East region, Kuwait is interested in using those opportunities, of course. We are interested not only in earnings from oil exports but also in revenues from direct and indirect investments into the Far East regions”, said Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.
