PI of Clarksea tankers, bulkers, boxships and gas carriers has slumped to a record low of $8,900, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Martin Stopford, President of Clarkson Research Services Ltd, as saying at the meeting dedicated to the 27th International Maritime Trade Fair SMM-2016. He says average PI after 1990 was $12,000, in 2008 - $22,000.
