Damen Marine Components scores maximum at independent welding audit EN-ISO 3843-2

Recently one of DMC’s largest clients requested an internationally accepted and independent audit bureau to test the skills of DMC’s welders and procedures. This test was necessary, as the client explained, since the majority of the products are supplied to the international offshore and shipping industry, where the highest quality is demanded, Damen group said Tuesday.

The results of this audit, on the basis of EN-ISO 3843-2, left no doubt about the capacity of DMC: 237 of the requested 238 items were without any remark and resulted in a score of 99.6%. The surveyors stated that they had never before had a comparably high score!

It goes without saying, that DMC is extremely proud of this result and of our personnel for executing it.
