In January-July 2016, total sales of bunker fuel at port Vladivostok and its offshore terminals amounted to 221,400 t, down almost 3 times against 7M’15 (over 619,000 t), Administration of Seaports of Primorsky Territory and Eastern Arctic told IAA PortNews.
About a quarter of this volume was sold at the offshore terminals (eastern, western and internal).
In July, bunker sales from the port’s offshore terminals amounted to 6,100 t, at the port - 26,300 t.
As compared with July 2015, bunker sales dropped almost 2 times to 32,400 t (in 2015 - 77,700 t).
In the 7-month period, sales of heavy fuel oil totaled some 167,300 t, fuel containing material – about 53,300 t with diesel fuel accounting for the rest of the volume. Sales of diesel fuel have increased month-to-month, from 255 t in June to 1,582 t in July.
In January-July, the number of bunkering operations declined from 2,092 to 1,950.
