Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg handled 43 cruise ships in August 2016

Between August 1st and 31st Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg received 43 cruise ships, which brought 102 035 passengers, says the Port’s press center. Europa 2 and AIDAaura called the Port for the first time. The total berth time of the ships is 80 ship-days, total amount of passenger operations 366 477.

Services provided to ships:

Fresh water bunkering – 9 560  m3
Garbage collection –  777 m3
Waste-waters reception – 4 156  m3

In the indicated period 31 helicopters have used the helipad of Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg for landing and take-off.

On August 3rd, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee on Transport Alexandr Golovin held a retreat on the half-year period results of “PP of SPb MF” PLC at the Port.

On August 16th, the TV series "Two against death" was shoot by the film company "ARGO production" at the Passenger port of St. Petersburg.

On August 17th, “PP of SPb MF” PLC representatives participated in a retreat of the Cruise Industry Association Members which was held at m/v City Blues operated by Astra Marin.

On August 19th, at Passenger port of St. Petersburg head of state policy on development of the state border facilities of the Russian Federation (Mintrans Russia) Veronica Bobrovskaya held a retreat on the project for the reconstruction of the border check point at Passenger Port of St. Petersburg.

This month's highest quantity of ships in Port was 6, on August 10th.
