As part of the Eastern Economic Forum, the Russian Export Center and the FESCO Transportation Group entered into a cooperation agreement on export operations, FESCO says in a press release. The document was signed by Petr Fradkov, CEO of the Russian Export Center, and Alexander Isurin, President of FESCO.
The agreement centres on a collaborative effort to aid Russian companies in entering overseas markets, in particular through improving export logistics.
“Well-structured logistics guarantee timely export deliveries. FESCO is a major player in this area, and we aim to leverage our expertise to bring the Russian Export Center’s customers the best logistics solutions for developing efficient supply chains,” said Petr Fradkov.
The Russian Export Center will keep Russian exporters posted about FESCO’s activities, including opportunities to optimise logistics costs with a view to developing end-to-end supply chains. FESCO in its turn will review the logistics routes designed by the Russian Export Center's customers.
“The agreement with the Russian Export Center is in line with FESCO’s strategic development priorities, which include broadening ties with Russian exporters, exploring new routes and regions, and developing project logistics. We are certain that cooperation with the Russian Export Center, bolstered by our strong track record and well-oiled operations, will result in the most efficient logistic arrangements for Russian exporters, allowing them to access overseas markets and gain a competitive edge,” commented Alexander Isurin.
In addition, the parties agreed to jointly participate in industry conferences and organise events aimed at bringing Russian exports to the next level.
