Throughput of Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port down 9.4% to 1,004,100 t in 8M’16

In January-August 2016, Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port OJSC handled 1,004,100 t of cargo (-9.4%, year-on-year), the company says.

Transshipment of import cargo totaled 15,200 t (-37.4%), exports – down almost 2-fold to 182,200 t, short-sea traffic – up 3.2% to 762,100 t.

Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port OJSC is a multi-profile stevedoring company of port Arkhangelsk. It specializes in transshipment of general cargo, cellulose, cardboard, containers, timber, metal, fertilizers, heavy equipment, loose and dry bulk cargo. In 2015, the company handled 1.599 mln t of cargo.
