In January-November 2016, Big Port St. Petersburg handled 43.96 mln t of cargo (-7%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, transshipment of oil products fell by 33% to 5.85 млн mln t, dry bulk cargo – by 16% to 6.70 mln t, general cargo – up 2% to 10.99 mln t, transshipment of Ro-Ro cargo – up 20% to 675,000 t, dry loose cargo – up 33% to 195,300 t.
The port’s container throughput increased by 1.6% to 1,597,477 TEUs.
In 2015, the port handled 51.51 mln t of cargo, its container throughput was 1.71 mln TEUs.
