The Port of Odessa says its throughput in January-February 2017 totaled 4,151,500 t (+9.6%, year-on-year).
In February, the port handled 2,175,000 t (+1.5%, year-on-year). Transshipment of dry cargo totaled 1,922,100 t (+1.7%) including 709,800 t of grain (-9.1%), metal - 628,200 t (+18.8%). The port authorities attribute the fall in transshipment of liquid bulk cargo to foreign policy and the decision of the RF Government to export its oil cargo exclusively via the ports of Russia.
