In January-March 2017, Big Port St. Petersburg handled 12.60 mln t of cargo (+6%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, transshipment of oil products fell by 11% to 1.75 mln t, dry bulk cargo – climbed by 15% to 2.00 mln t, general cargo – up 7% to 3.02 mln t, Ro-Ro – up 28% to 200,100 t.
The port’s container throughput increased by 5.2% to 460,500 TEUs.
In 2016, the port handled 48.62 mln t of cargo, its container throughput was 1.74 mln TEUs.
