Passenger Port of St. Petersburg welcomed 10 cruise ships last week

From 15th to 21st of May Passenger Port of St. Petersburg has received 10 cruise ships which brought 19 394 passengers. The total berth time of the ships is 20 ship-days, total amount of passenger operations – 71 725.

Services provided to ships:

Fresh water bunkering – 5 310  m3
Garbage collection – 258 m3
Waste-waters reception – 1 337 m3

In the indicated period 3 helicopters has used the helipad of Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg for landing and take-off.

On May 19th representatives of Passenger port of St. Petersburg took part in the opening ceremony of XVII international competitions in sports gymnastics for prizes of Olympic champion Alexander Dityatin and “Cup of Dinamo sports society”. More than 100 young gymnasts from 14 countries took part in the contest, which was held from 17th to 20th of May. "PP SPb MF" PLC is actively engaged in the organization of numerous educational, social and sports youth projects.  
 
On 20th of May cruise ship Norwegian Getaway (Norwegian Cruise Line) has made its maiden call to Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg. Norwegian Getaway, the second vessel in Breakaway class, was built in 2014. It has 18 decks, 2008 cabins, 324 m length and capacity of carrying 4028 passengers on board. The crew is more than 1600 persons. Traditionally, a solemn exchange of plaques took place on board of the ship. During the 2017 cruise season Norwegian Getaway will make 17 calls to Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg.
Maximum number of vessels at the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg this week - 4 vessels on May 16th, 17th and 18th.
