In January-June 2017, Big Port St. Petersburg handled 26.02 mln t of cargo (+7%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, transshipment of oil products fell by 4% to 3.52 mln t, dry bulk cargo – climbed by 16% to 4.19 mln t, general cargo – up 2% to 6.23 mln t, transshipment of Ro-Ro cargo – up 67% to 542,900 t.
The port’s container throughput increased by 7.7% to 954,237 TEUs.
In 2016, the port handled 48.62 mln t of cargo, its container throughput was 1.74 mln TEUs.
