In HI’2017 TransContainer transported 869,000 TEUs, up 18.7% Y-o-Y

Container volumes transported by the TransContainer’s flatcar and container fleet grew by 18.7% year-on-year to 860 thousand TEU, mainly as a result of an increase in transit, import and export transportation, the Company’s press release says.

In the reporting period, transportation of transit and import cargo showed the highest growth – 72.3% and 44.3%.

Container volumes transported by the Company’s flatcar fleet in the first half of 2017 increased by 19.2% year-on-year to 800 thousand TEU from 671 thousand TEU a year earlier.
