NIBULON enlarges capacities of its transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv
NIBULON enlarges capacities of its transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv due to support of the International Finance Corporation, which allocated a long-term loan of USD 110 to the company in June 2017.
At present, a complex for grain and oilseeds transshipment of about 43 thousand tons is being constructed on the territory of the facility, says the company.
NIBULON received a permit for construction at the end of October. The specialists are carrying out preparatory works at the site, as well as site planning and ramming piles. In total there will be mounted six silos of 7.2 thousand tons each. Upon construction completion, total capacity of grain silos located on the territory of the transshipment terminal will attain 173 thousand tons. The completion of the new complex construction is scheduled for February 2018.
NIBULON’s long-term and reliable partners, namely Kondratiuk Self-Employed Individual, Chornomorhidrobud Ltd., Perspektyva-Mykolaiv Ltd., PROMBUD-2 Ltd, Ukrdobrobud Ltd. are ramming piles and preparing foundations at the construction site.
BUHLER GmbH (Switzerland, conveying machinery and grain cleaning equipment), Cimbria Unigrain A/S, (Denmark, conveying equipment), FRAME S.R.L. (Italy, silos to store dry grain), Precia S.A. (France, hopper scales), Simatek (Denmark, cyclone cleaners) are among the companies that will supply the required high-tech equipment for the complex.
It will be possible to store seven different crops separately and simultaneously at the transshipment terminal when the new complex is put into operation. In addition, the terminal will be capable of receiving all crops and ensuring continuous transportation of agricultural products along the Southern Buh River all the marketing year long.
NIBULON’s transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv was acknowledged as Ukraine’s best industrial facility constructed and put into operation in 2004. This facility is unique not only in Ukraine but also in Europe. At the terminal, there are modern units to receive, ship and dry grain, plus a warehouse of floor grain storage with active ventilation and a capacity of up to 11 thousand tons, and the pride of the company – two domes (grain storages) with the capacity of 50 thousand tons each. NIBULON can also receive different quality agricultural commodities and improve them to export standards, thereby ensuring that cargoes exported are guaranteed to meet world quality standards.
