In January 2018, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 225,500 t of cargo (+24.3%, year-on-year), the Azov Sea Ports Administration told IAA PortNews.
In the reporting period transshipment of oil products grew by 15% to 86,600 t, grain – 2.8 times to 85,100 t. Coal transshipment fell by 21.4% to 41,100 t, ferrous metal – by 24.1% to 2,200 t.
Exports grew by 46.33% to 138,700 t, transshipment of coastal trade cargo – by 9.4% to 82,800 t. Imports dropped by 63.3% to 4,000 t.
In January, the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog registered 54 arrivals and 51 departures versus 51 arrivals and 43 departures in January 2017.
