Throughput of port Primorsk in Jan'2018 down 34% Y-o-Y to 3.71 million tonnes
In January 2018, the port of Primorsk handled3,717,200 tonnes of cargo, which is 34% down, year-on-year. According to the port authority, crude oil transshipment fell by 35% to 2,811,700 t. Transshipment of oil products fell by 32% to 905,400 tonnes.
In 2017, the port handled 57.60 million tonnes, down 11% Y-o-Y.
Port Primorsk is Russia’s largest oil port in the Baltic Sea. It is the final stage of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS). The port is located in the Leningrad Region, on the eastern coast of the Bjyerkezund Strait (Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea).
