NOVATEK denies information about agreement between Yamal LNG and Northern River Shipping Company

Press center of NOVATEK has denied information about an agreement between Northern River Shipping Company and Yamal LNG on cooperation in delivery of cargo for construction of Arctic LNG 2, a plant for liquefaction of natural gas. This information had been provided by NRSC. 

As NOVATEK told IAA PortNews, Arctic LNG 2 signed an agreement with forwarding company NEK which, in its turn,chartered two vessels of Northern River Shipping Company mentioned in the statement. 

“Participation of NRSC vessels in cargo transportation is true. The rest of information related to cargo delivery is a false story”, said NOVATEK. 

Moreover, Yamal LNG has nothing to do with the Arctic LNG 2 project.
