The bridge raising period on the Neva and Malaya Neva rivers in Saint-Petersburg was officially started on the night of April 9th to April 10th. Saint-Petersburg Committee for Transport Infrastructure Development says that navigation on the Neva arms will open on 20 April.

The schedule of the Blagoveshchensky, Dvortsovy and volodarsky bridges remain unchanged. They will be raised twice while the Troitsky, Bolsheokhtinsky, Liteiny and Aleksander Nevsky bridges will be raised once per night.

The Sampsoniyevsky, Grenadersky and Kantemirovsky bidges will be raised by prior request (two days before required raising). They will be raised between 01:30 and 04:30 (Moscow time).

The internavigation period was used by Mostotrest for repair and maintenance of the draw-bridges. Prior to opening of the navigation season Mostotrest has performed 51 raising operations this year.
