Seaports of the Russian Federation handled 260.8 million tonnes of cargo in 4M’18, up 3.7% Y-o-Y
In January-April 2018 seaports of the Russian Federation handled 260.8 million tonnes of cargo, up 3.7%, year-on-year, says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot). In the reporting period, transshipment of dry cargo totaled 122.47 million tonnes (+10.0%), liquid bulk cargo - 137.61 million tonnes (-1.3%).
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 25.63 million tonnes (+ 12.5%) including 9.11 million tonnes of dry cargo (+5.2%) and 16.51 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+ 16.9 %).
Seaports of the Baltic Sea basin handled 81.69 million tonnes (-1.3%) including 34.95 million tonnes of dry cargo (+10.4%) and 46.73 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-8.6%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea basin handled 88.21 million tonnes of cargo (+8.9%) including 39.17 million tonnes od dry cargo (+19.8%) and 49.04 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+1.5%).
Seaports of the Caspian Sea basin handled 1.72 million tonnes (+47.4%) including 0.99 million tonnes of dry cargo (+16.1%) and 0.72 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (up 2.3 times).
Seaports of the Far East basin handled 62.84 million tonnes (-0.4%) including 38.24 million tonnes of dry cargo (+ 1.9%) and 24.59 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-3.9%).
