MSC Splendida enters Busan Port
Busan Port Authority stated that MSC Cruises Splendida(138,000 tons) called at Busan Port for the first time on the 2nd of May, the company said in its press release.
MSC will deploy Splendida to Busan Port 4 times this year replacing MSC Lirica (65,000 tons).
36,000 passengers of MSC Splendida are mostly Japanese and they will return to Yokohama after touring Busan, Fukuoka, and Kobe. BPA and Busan Tourism Association held a welcoming ceremony and Korean traditional performance for the passengers.
BPA Management Director LEE Jin-geol said “We plan to carry out customized marketing strategies for cruise companies in accordance with Northeast Asia cruise boom when Korea and China improve their relationship.”
